We understand that sometimes you may need to return or exchange a product, and we have created a straightforward and fair refund and return policy. This comprehensive policy outlines the conditions under which you may return items and how refunds are processed. Please review this policy carefully before making a purchase.
Eligibility for Returns
You may be eligible for a return under the following conditions:
Damaged or Defective Items: If your art print arrives damaged, or if there is a manufacturing defect, you may request a return or a replacement. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and provide clear photos or videos documenting the damage or defect. Include images of the original packaging if possible.
Incorrect Items: If you received an item different from what you ordered, you may request a return or replacement. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and provide proof of the incorrect item received.
Non-Satisfaction: If you are not satisfied with your purchase for reasons other than the above (e.g., change of mind, not as expected), you may request a return for a refund, subject to a restocking fee. This type of return must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your order. The product must be unused, in its original condition, and packaged securely for return shipping. This includes all original packaging, tags, and any accompanying materials.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
Personalized or Custom-Made Items: Art prints that have been customized to your specific requirements, including personalized text or designs, cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Items Damaged Due to Improper Handling: Items that have been damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper handling by the customer, including exposure to improper environmental conditions such as moisture or excessive heat, are not eligible for return.
Items Not in Original Condition: Items that have been used, altered, or returned without their original packaging are not eligible for return, unless damaged or defective upon arrival.
Clearance or Sale Items: Items that are purchased as part of a clearance or sale event may not be returnable unless they are damaged or defective. This information will be explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
Digital products: Downloads or digital products are non-returnable or refundable.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
Contact Us: Within the specified return period (14 days for damaged or incorrect items, 30 days for non-satisfaction returns), contact us via email at info@snugtoopin.com or call us at 440-871-8654 to notify us of your intent to return an item. Please provide your order number, the reason for the return, and clear photos or videos of any damage or defects, if applicable.
Receive Return Authorization: Once we have reviewed your request and confirmed your eligibility for a return, we will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on where to ship the item. We will also specify any packaging instructions to ensure safe return.
Ship the Item: Carefully package the item to prevent any damage during transit. Include the RA number on the package and ship the item to the address we provide you. Use a reputable shipping carrier with tracking capabilities to protect against loss or damage during return transit.
Return Shipping Cost:
For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, we will provide a prepaid shipping label and cover the cost of return shipping. We will provide detailed return instructions to ensure the correct return process.
For non-satisfaction returns, the customer will be responsible for paying the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining proof of shipment until your return is processed.
Refund or Replacement: Once we receive the returned item and confirm its condition, we will process your refund or replacement within 10 business days. We will send a confirmation email when your refund is processed or when a replacement item is shipped.
Refunds
Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment used for the purchase, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon. It may take several business days for your refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider. For non-satisfaction returns, we may deduct a restocking fee, typically 15% of the purchase price, to cover processing and restocking costs. The amount of the restocking fee, if applicable, will be communicated to you before processing the refund.
Replacements
If you have requested a replacement, we will ship a new item to you as soon as possible after receiving the returned item. We will contact you to confirm shipment. If the original item is no longer in stock, we will work with you to find a suitable replacement or offer a refund.
Exchanges
Currently, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item for a different one, please initiate a return of the original item for a refund, and then place a new order for the desired item. You will receive a refund for the item returned and can then purchase the new item you would like instead.
Additional Terms
Snugtoopin reserves the right to refuse a return if the item is not returned in accordance with this policy, including the timelines and condition guidelines outlined above. We will communicate with you to explain why a return is refused and address any concerns.
We recommend you insure your return shipment as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returned packages. We advise you to retain the tracking information for your return shipment until the return has been processed.
Refunds will only be credited back to the original payment method.
We will process refunds with the speed of efficiency as quickly as possible, but please understand that refunds to debit cards and credit cards can take a few business days depending on your bank. We are not able to expedite this process.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are confirmed as delivered by the postal carrier.
